Ashley Gray asked I have a 7-8yr old male Great Dane that I have rescued... He is gentle hearted and the best dog I could have asked for. Today I took him into the vet because he has recently gotten 2 lumps I wanted looked at. one is on his leg that the vet said was not cancerous and was more of a cosmetic issue unless he starts licking it until it bleeds. the second one is under his rib cage and the vet recommended that one be removed... he said it was not cancerous but it was where his embilical cord was attached and he saw inflammatory cells in it. I am wondering if anyone else had this happen and really looking for any information on it since I have not researched yet but plan to. this lump does not hinder anything my do does but I am super nervous about the surgery and leaving him with people since he was beaten and abandoned before (the other owners).
