Asiana Airlines admits that pilot error was partly at fault for slamming a 777 into the SFO sea wall, but argues as defence: air traffic control instructions and procedures that led to an excessive pilot workload during a high-energy final approach,. Yes, the process at SFO is to warn the pilot that he is dive-bombing and to alert him to the failure to execute a proper approach path landing... Blaming ATC for a pilot who doesnt realise he has to go around and try again is ludicrous.
