Aside from the fact that Im not into touristy places and dont fully get the allure of flying thousands of miles to look at a building or art youve seen in pictures; the desire to avoid violence and discrimination is one of the largest reasons I avoid traveling abroad. Glad/surprised Japan didnt make the list, but likely because its passive-aggressive, whereas Ive heard Koreans get hands-on & in-your-face about it. Im altogether shocked about Spain and Greece.
