Ask: Have ever wanted to ask for something and for whatever - TopicsExpress

Ask: Have ever wanted to ask for something and for whatever reason you did not. Maybe afraid of rejection, the person may anger at your request, worrying about how you maybe received, concerns about the person’s perception about you, embarrassed about your request and maybe just not knowing how to ask it. Well my Christian friend, just ask, we have the privilege to go before our Lord with boldness, making our request known to Him. Luke 11:9-10 9.And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Those are the words of our Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus also said; If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7 Now these verses do not mean that everything we may ask for will be given to us, but do mean that if it is Gods Will for us it will happen! After all we may ask for something that would hurt us in the end, for we have no way of knowing the future, but God knows all things and is all wise. So when you pray do not be afraid to ask God for something that you desire, knowing that He who knows all is looking out for you. For God has said; 12. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-13 Also do not think that God has abandoned you if a prayer isnt answered the way you would like. After all, in time you may look back on that prayer request and say, Thank goodness, God Didnt Answer That One! Therefore Saints, never lose hope when you pray for it is written; The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.(James 5:16) So; 17. Pray without ceasing. 18. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18 Amen
