Asked by a guy, been in scotland for less than 2 years, Advise me on what baises should I make a decision. (add your own bellow) Firstly, welcome!! Get to know more about the historical nature of Scotland and its outlook, all are welcome, we are generally a Labor voting population, not because we are Labor, but more due to us being communitarian, inclusive and always identify with the plight of others and those overseas. Palestinian flags fly on our public buildings, we were the first to recognise Mandela. We as a people hate imperialism, hate injustice and above all hate being conned. If you agree with these attitudes then start to look at McCrone report, the redrawing of borders, the wealth differences between our people and the distribution of wealth in general. Then look to our vast history of innovation of our people, you can be taught Engineering to high levels, but enginuity cant be taught, we excell in this. I would say one of the main reasons for this is that we have no time for hierarchy and only the best idea is adopted, where it comes from is not important. Then look at our huge untapped resources, land, sea and people. Our history in aid and subjection to rule is also an area if you like. We are a peace loving country and have no wish to follow the US and its dog Westminster to rampage round the world like teenagers kicking everything it objects to or doesnt even try to understand. Everyone knows if you hit hives, they cant kick you back, but later they will sting.
