Asking for prayers from all my family and friends again. Kayleigh is having an ERCP done tomorrow at Cincinnati Childrens hospital 2moro at 3pm. An ERCP is a diagnostic test/exploratory surgery that will let us know definitely what keeps causing her to get pancreatitis. When they figure out the cause, if possible, they are going to try to fix it while they are in there. Right now we know the anatomy of her pancreas isnt correct but it seems to work for her body. If they dont find any other cause then the plan is to try to fix the anatomy of her pancreas but if they find another cause they arent going to bother the anatomy. If it ends up being her gall bladder they will have to do that surgery on another day. So right now we dont have much of an idea of what they will definitely do bcuz we dont know what is causing it. But with this test, we will for sure find out the cause. The reason they have put this test off until now is bcuz this test alone has a possibility of making her have pancreatitis so she will be admitted after recovery to keep a close check on her levels. Please pray that whatever it is that the doctors can easily fix it while they are in there and that she doesnt get pancreatitis again from this test. I will do my best to keep everyone updated on here of what is going on. Thanks for all your prayers in advance.
