Assalam Alaycom.. this post is just an open discussion, i need your help.. This is post it is not talking about any of whom are in my friends list, since such conversations always end with them blocking me, so for sure this doesnt talk about anyone here whom can see this post :) This about some brothers & sisters whom are talking in private messages, this is the typical conversation: S/he: Assalam Alaycom Me: Wa Alaycom Assalam S/he: How are you? Me: Alhamdoullah ... (some talking) S/he: tell me about yourself, name, age, country of origin ..etc Me: are you a brother or sister (this is if i couldnt figure that out from user name or photo) (in case of a sister) She: a sister (sometimes with more details) Me: Well, im a brother, sister.. She: Ok.. Me: I think it is not good to a brother to chat with a sister, sister.. She: (sometimes immediately and sometimes after some discussion about the reason) ok, thank you.. Me: Jazaki Allah Khair.. End.. 10-15 min. later, she blocked me! (in case of a brother) i may share with him some personal information, but up to some level only, since some will ask: how many members in your family, how do you live, and some really tooooooo personal stuff that i dont see how it could be useful to them, things that i dont want to share with someone i dont know! I say: brother, please avoid asking such personal stuff.. this account is just for Islam, nothing personal in it, so please dont ask me about such things.. He: we are Muslims, and we should know each other and keep a kind and good relations..etc Me: of course, but still no point to share with you my very personal information.. He: But you should do.. --End, and again.. 10-15 min. and he will block me! I need your advice please, is the way im dealing with people wrong? why they are all blocking me? should i really share all these things with them? what i know about Islam it the great Hadith of prophet Mohammed peace be upon him that is considered as one of the concepts in Islam... On the authority of Abu Hurairah, who said : The messenger of Allah said : Part of someones being a good Muslim is his leaving alone that which does not concern him. ---fine hadith narrated by Termithi and others Opinions please :) Jazakum Allah Khair :)
