Assalam Alikum wa rahmatu Allah wa barakatouh Can you imagine Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’alah praising you!!!….. Yes you by name!! I am sure you find that very hard to imagine and I am also sure you would love to feel it and hear it. Today I will take you through this feeling and show you how you can achieve it. When the Prophet Sallah Allah alaihi wa sal’am is mentioned we all say Allahuma Salli wa Sal’im Alaih. It is considered Ibada (worship) to say: (Allahuma Salli wa Sal’im Ala Saydina Mohamad) and if you stick to it, you will be so happy on the Day of Judgment…But today I want more for you and me….. I want us to be happy with it in this dunia also!!! How? Do you know what does Allahuma Salli wa Sal’im Ala Saydina Mohamad mean? The Salah from Allah to his servant means: Allah praising him in the skies in front of all the Malaikah (angels). So by saying it, you are praying that Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’lah praises the Prophet Sallah Allah alihi wa Sal’am in the skies in front of all the angels. Here is a question: How can we feel and enjoy the praising of the Prophet Sallah Allah alihi wa Sal’am? We will know the answer of this question If we know what happens in the skies when we praise the Prophet (Sallah Allah alihi wa Sal’am)!!! I am sure you are expecting if you do so, Allah will have mercy on you or will give you rizq or will love you….But have you ever thought of Allah praising you (Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’lah yusal’I alaik)!!.....Yes you by name……can you picture that!!? Ok let’s imagine that there is a brother called Suliman Al Tamimi. On Friday Suliman entered the masjid while the imam was giving the Kutbah of Friday………. The minute Suliman walked in the imam stopped the kutbah and pointed at him and said loudly: Allahuma Sal’I alah Suliman Al Tamimi and all the people in the masjid answered Ameen…….. then he said it again: Allahuma Sal’I alah Suliman Al Tamimi and all the people in the masjid answered Ameen with all their hearts….. What do you think of this incident!!? Do you think Suliman will ever forget this moment as long as he lives!!!? Impossible Well, there is something way greater than this situation which you can achieve every day ….It is Allah praising you….. Many of us get carried away with our daily lives and neglect the salah ala Al Rasoul (Sallah Allah alihi wa Sal’am), which is the main reason for Allah to praise you in front of the Mala’ikah. Not only this, but I still have more good news for you. Can you imagine the angel Jibreel (Alaihi Salaam ) who has 600 wings, one of his wings can cover the entire skies and block the sun, can you picture him praising you!!! When you say (Allahuma Sal’I wa Sal’im ala Mohamed), picture him saying: Allahuma Sal’I ala Fatmah or Taiba or Salma in front of all the mala’ikah and they all answer Ameen. When this great news reached the Prophet (Sallah Allah alihi wa Sal’am) he immediately did sujoud Al Shukr to thank Allah for this blessing. Abdul Rahman Ibn Aouf said: I came to the Prophet (Sallah Allah alihi wa Sal’am) and he was in the position of sujoud and he took too long. When he finished he said: Jibreel came to me and told me whoever praises you I praise them and whoever sends salam to you I send salam to them…. The scholars of Islam value and appreciate this very much. The Prophet (Sallah Allah alihi wa Sal’am) went to Obai bin Ka’ab and told him: Allah asked me to read the Qura’n to you….. Imagine if this was you!!!…I am sure any of us will be saying Jazak Allah khair ya Rasoul Allah, please read it to me but Obai was thinking different…..he asked the Prophet (Sallah Allah alihi wa Sal’am) did Allah mention my name to you? Was my name mentioned in the skies? The Prophet (Sallah Allah alihi wa Sal’am) said: Yes. Obai started crying may Allah be pleased with him. It’s a great feeling….imagine if you say (Allahuma Sal’I wa Sal’im ala sayyedina Mohamed) right now, Allah will also praise you by name right now in front of all the angels….. WAllahi if you can always think of this and picture it you will never stop praising the Prophet (Sallah Allah alihi wa Sal’am) and you will say it with a different feeling…a feeling of enjoyment and happiness Subhana Allah. Whenever you find yourself depressed or feeling bad say it and I promise you, you will find yourself smiling again enjoying the praise of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’alah….what more do you want from this dunia….nothing is worth feeling bad for after knowing this. Anas ibn Malik reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, If anyone says the prayer on me once, Allah prays on him ten times and removes ten errors from him. Now here is a question to you: What will you do when Allah praises you in the skies? I am sure you have never thought of this before!!! That moment when Allah is praising me, I will be feeling so shy from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’alah. Who am I for him to praise me and mention my name in the skies? Some of us have not been praised in this dunia let alone being praised by the king of kings Subhanahu wa Ta’alah in front of the angels. This feeling of shyness from Allah is considered ibadah Subhana Allah and you will be rewarded it for it so picture the moment when you praise the Prophet (Sallah Allah alihi wa Sal’am), picture Allah praising you. One more thing to do when you know Allah is praising you, you must return the Ihsaan by praising him Subhanahu Wa Ta’alah, keep repeating Subhana Allah Wal Hamdulilah wa la Ilaha Ella Allah Wa Allahu Akbar and all the different thikr you know. Also praise him in front of people like he praised you in front of the angels. So when you visit your friends or when you are with a group of people, make sure to mention Allah and his blessings. Plan and find a subject which will remind people of the blessings of Allah and people start to mention Allah and thank him for his blessings. As you liked to be praised Allah Subhanhu Wa Ta’alah alo liked to be praised and he is worthy of praise and worship Subhanahu wa Ta’alah. The Prophet (Sallah Allah alihi wa Sal’am) said: there is none who likes to be praised more than Allah does So from today my dear brother and sister do not waste this amazing chance and share it and teach it to your loved ones. You will have the reward for every salah they do on the Prophet (Sallah Allah alihi wa Sal’am)
