Assembly panel of Petitions Committee Meet SRINAGAR, JULY 18: A meeting of the Committee on Petitions was held under the Chairmanship of MLA, Syed Bashir Ahmad here today. Legislators Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, Mr. Charanjit Singh and Mr. Durga Dass attended the meeting and gave their valuable suggestions with regard to dispose off, the petitions received by the Assembly Secretariat so far. Threadbare discussion was held on various petitions received by the Assembly Secretariat so far. These included petition given by Mr. Ashiq Ahmad Wani regarding amputation of his left hand because of negligence of Doctors and no job provided to him by authorities, petition given by Abdul Manan, Ex-projectionist, Medical College Srinagar regarding regularization of Migrant substitutes from the date of initial appointment for pensioner benefits and petition given by Smt. Vanita Mahajan R/o Tikuta Nagar Jammu regarding reimbursement of medical claim of Sh. Satish Mahajan (SRO case) Among others, Special Secretary Legislative Assembly, Mr. M. R. Singh and other senior officers of Assembly Secretariat were present in the meeting.
