Associate Professor in the School of Social Work and Tucson Component Coordinator for the College of Public Programs Cynthia Lietz spoke at the Annual Statewide Child Abuse Prevention event on April 22 in downtown Phoenix. Child abuse prevention advocates from the public and private sectors, including Director of Arizona Child Safety and Family Services Charles Flanagan and Maricopa County Presiding Juvenile Court Judge Colleen McNally, gathered with community members to examine the way child abuse and child abuse prevention is addressed in the the state of Arizona.
