The Assyrian Medical Society proudly presents, the next humanitarian joining the Assyrian Medical Society- Medical Advisory Board. Better known as Dr. Simon Rayhanabad MD, is a general surgeon who specializes in vascular surgery. Earning his degree from Tehran University in 1973, he traveled to the United States where he began his career, by completing his residency, at the acclaimed Henry Ford Hospital, in 1980. Dr. Simon continued his education by earning his Fellowship, at the Henry Ford Hospital as well, in 1981. Despite having over thirty years of surgical experience, and mastering vascular surgery, Dr. Simon completed his advanced training in Endovascular surgery from, the renowned, Stanford University -School of Medicine, in 2009. Dr. Simon also speaks, at least, four different languages. Possessing this multilingual skill only adds to his, already impressive, background. In addition to his exceptional education and experience in the medical field, Dr. Simon Rayhanabad, and his lovely wife, Josephine, are one of the most influential and generous, supporters of our organization. Countless times I have required, and received aid and expert opinion in the medical field. Again, I am thrilled to welcome Dr. Simon Rayhanabad, to our Medical Advisory Board.
