At 27 years old, Kieran O’Neill is a serial entrepreneur who began founding and selling Internet companies in his early teens. After moving to the UK from Bermuda at 14, he founded HolyLemon, one of the web’s first video sharing sites, two years before YouTube existed. O’Neill sold the company when he was 19 years old for $1.25 million. A year later, O’Neill dropped out of his management degree at Bath University to start his next venture Playfire, the world’s largest social network for video games, which he sold in 2012 after reaching one million users. Today, O’Neill is the founder and CEO of thread, an e-commerce startup that provides free personalised stylist advice for men.
