At 7:00pm eastern time this evening 30 years ago the Angel that is my soul mate said I Do in a small church off the side of the pastors house. I also said I Do and the journey has been the stuff that legends are made of. We have lived through things and times that are the subject matter of great novels, incredible heart break, hilarious comedy, horrifying drama, miraculous survival, and all conquering love. We have lived hand to mouth, sneaking food home from the all you can eat buffets, to full stomachs at four star restaurants. From shotgun apartment dwellers to homeowners. From devil-may-care to responsible citizens, from kids..to parents. People looked at us as we walked through the malls and said horrific things about us, we were not supposed to be together. But love proved them wrong. I can not say what you were thinking that night, 30 years ago, when you committed to spend the rest of your life with me...But I am so incredible glad that you said, I Do.
