At 8:35 in the morning of 16th November 2013, forty-four (44) students of De La Salle University-Manila, class of Theology and Religious Education 2 and the Universitys Center for Social Concern and Action, arrived at Delaware street, Greenland Subdivision, Brgy. Banaba, San Mateo, Rizal. They assembled immediately at the second floor of the medium rise building dedicated to become Banaba Livelihood and Evacuation Center (under the Stewardship of Buklod Tao. Stewardship is Discipleship, PCP 2). After brief reminders , house rules and instructions, the needed materials were handed out to the four leaders of the groups. There were here to undertake On Site Community Service. Hence, two groups (24 students) conducted filling up of head size boulders of the already laid out gabion boxes for erosion prevention, while another two groups (20 students) enhanced the production of our mothers coco feet slippers. Disbursement Report of the class Activity Fund by the Finance Committee and Processing Session with students capped the On Site Community Service. Cheers ! Saludo!!!
