At 8am yesterday I decided that I was done with sports projects . Today Ive changed my mind.....next project 1. Do Taupo Enduro 2015 as Qualifier for (2) 2016 Race across America.If I can help CTCR again I will, Ill just take a breather. Having a go on an indoor track could be an option so I going to keep this page active. Thanks for all those who contributed. Was seriously concerned for my health in the hours after my effort but have slowly managed to hold food and realise what day it is. I am overwhelmed by the support I received both before and during this effort. People Ive never met have gave their time ( even at 3am) to help me achieve a personal goal. Thanks so much!! I am certainly glad to have at least helped CTCR and raise awareness of cancer research who have the potential to help a great friend and fellow cyclist who is seriously ill with the dreaded C. I certainly thought of Warren during my ride. Specifically I would like to thank..... James, Bryony (and through her Tanis Godwin who helped me run this page ) for taking the lead and liasing for me from start to finish. Look forward to catching up you all soon! Thanks to Steve and Barry for taking care of the rules and regulations. Also a major thanks to you facebook followers and those who I dont even know who showed up at the track to see what this madness was all about. I was expecting 1 official, and my wife Marcela from start to end?? You guys have restored my faith in humanity! This ranks alongside my Olympic efforts and being a world speed skating champ.
