At Dallas Media Park, we’re thankful every day just to be open! However, as the owner, I wanted to be a bit more personable. I wanted to take this Thanksgiving to thanks those who make this all possible but please understand that this is not a comprehensive list of all those I need to thank and love. No matter how many ups and downs family gives you, everything you are came from them and I’ve been fortunate to like who I’ve become as a person. I’ve been running a family studio for almost 15 years and I had always wanted to build a co-share studio so that all the wonderful people I work with could benefit from a collective effort. Then about 2 years ago, I decided to venture into my own business to pursue my own dream studio and projects. While there is still a long road ahead of me, it is amazing an amazing adventure. Without family (Martha Alameel), I would not be the success I am today. I would like to thank Brad Benat for sticking with me through the long search for almost 2 years looking for just the right place. While we’ve done many other projects together, this was the hardest. You are an amazing realtor and a proven friend! Thanks for introducing me to Sebastian Giovanni who did an amazing job organizing and prepping me for the bank. Sebastian, no financial institution should loan me money but you helped them see past the paperwork, to see that I’m somebody worth taking a risk on. You also have become an amazing friend, business contact, and party partner. I want to thank my old friend Jay A. Garcia. When I hired you all so many years ago, who knew that we would become trusted friends, respected artists, and partners? We already did some amazing project that many didn’t realize that we quietly changed the world! We’ll change the world again with projects like our upcoming CLASSIFIED-NDA-RETRACKED-BLACK SHARPIE-NSA SEES YOU LIKE SANTA SEES YOU-END OF LINE. :D I would like to thank Josie Lopez for becoming an amazing assistant. It’s not easy working for me because I never quit working which means you never quit either. I just hope Donnie doesn’t mind playing video games in the studio! I love how you can handle so much without fear of failing or fear of learning. This is just the start of bigger things coming. I want to thank Travis Stroud for being an awesome web designer. It’s hard to find a web designer that is relaxed, and can put up with all my design changes. It’s awesome to see how you can shift so easily between projects. Even Alan and Richard talk about your expertise. You three guys are rocking it hard. I want to thank all the amazing people that have visited Dallas Media Park. It is your kind words, reviews, and support that makes us grow strong and fast. However, I need to send a special thanks you to Duke Morse who was 2nd person to join us (with Rick Gibson), a fact that I know twists his panties because he was asking questions about the agreement while Blake Todd was in the other room signing the papers. :D Duke’s awesome workshops keeps our studio buzzing with activity. Blake, the last shoot was amazing and fun, and soon people will notice your budding talent and friendly demeanor. I always enjoy our conversations! Jamie Fawn-Meade, I love that you are also here in house, so much more is coming for you! I love seeing you grow so fast while doing so much. You are an inspiration that hard work does pays off. I cant wait for me to start my own project with you. Cheezz Washington, I want to thank you for always reminding me that I need to get on a diet because you rock the muscles. I also want to thank you for being so helpful to everybody. You are a gentle giant and I hope you remain so kind. Chandler from Flashing Light, I also want to thank you for joining us. It’s awesome to have a Police offer in the studio who is so helpful... but we’ll need your Taser if Chezz decides to be a hulk! :) Of course who can forget Manny and the original “other Travis” (Travis Steinbring)? You both have been so helpful to my family and to me. We still have so much about to still happen. You guys are my other “NDA” people we’ll do big things soon. We are all just on the first steps of something much bigger! I want to thank my new friends like Nino Batista. We are both hard workers that are expanding beyond our local niches into international recognized people. People think success comes from one person succeeding magically alone but most people find success with others. I look forward to our future plans! I also want to thank my cousin Alex Sanchez for being such a pain in the asterisks. However, you’re the kind of family that pushes me forward. See you peruse your new business is also inspiring that I need to keep moving forward. When great people hangout with other great people, we push each other forward. Finally, I want to thank my girlfriend Maricarmen Ruiz for putting up with me over these many years. Sure, things would have been easier if I was less of an unstable berserk egomaniac, but what better stories we now have! Too bad I’m still an unstable berserk egomaniac but now I’m comfortable saying that I love piña colada and getting caught in the rain. If you ain’t winning, you’re losing. Now, get back to work!
