At Sandy Jardines Funeral this morning. A huge turn out for one of the greatest fullbacks in the world in his time. Alex Ferguson and large Rangers turn out. There was also a large turn out from Celtic and most other Scottish clubs. Ive known the man from the age of 11 yrs old,had a few tips from him over the years and played against him when he was 40 years old.Bumped into big Gordon Marshall who still remembers myself and Stevie Thompson from our playing days. Sandy Jardine was the finest man you could meet in every way. Such a pleasure knowing him over nearly 40 years and always had time for a blether. A huge loss for all who knew him.
