At Tuesdays OB School Split pep rally,the Saraland City School Board President falsely reported the Saraland City Schools graduation rate to be 100%. According to the Alabama State Department of Education website, the Saraland City Schools graduation rate is in fact 83%, the SAME as Gulf Shores High School. The graduation rate is determined by how many students start as a freshman and graduate in four years with their class. This DOES NOT MEAN that 17% dropped out. It means that 17% either did not graduate on time OR they moved to another school and we were not able to track their data.
