At around 2:30PM on Friday, October 10th, Kinder Morgan workers - TopicsExpress

At around 2:30PM on Friday, October 10th, Kinder Morgan workers were pulling a long cable approximately 1 inch in diameter from a hole in the ground inside the north west corner of the tank farm in Burnaby, Unceded Coast Salish Territory. The workers had been pulling the cable out for at least a few minutes before I started recording. Just outside of the tank farms perimeter is where Kinder Morgan has proposed to do survey work for the Trans Mountain Expansion Project with geophysical sensor cables. I saw no sign of the sensor cables having been placed outside of the tank farm. The north west corner of the tank farm is where both proposed pipeline corridors that tunnel through the mountain are shown on Trans Mountains maps to leave the tank farm on the last leg of the proposed expansion to Westridge Marine Terminal. The approximate coordinates of the site of the cable extraction are: 49.272915, -122.936245 If anyone with an engineering or geotechnical background can explain what kind of surveying the workers are doing or what kind of hose or cable they are using it would be appreciated! https://youtube/watch?v=Oj35eZ6RfgA
