At first I was really taken back and offended by Georgias bowl game. But the more I think about it the more I LOVE it. Yes Auburn and Missouri got a bid over us but are the outback and citrus really that more prestigious? I dont think any recruits will be weighing Belk bowl vs. Outback. We still get a great matchup with Louisville. Sec/acc matchup gives us a chance to give ourselves a winning record on the year against those basketball fans. And the excitement of playing a Heisman candidate in Melvin Gordon is replaced by the excitement to play our former defensive coordinator. We will not play on New Years Day so fans wont miss any playoff semifinal games by going. We play in Charlotte which is a mere 3 hours away from Athens. Most of all its not in Florida!! How tired were we of playing down there regardless of the city or the opponent. I expect a good bit of fans to be in Charlotte to back the Dawgs and send out Mason. Me probably being one of them
