At first, this challenge didnt make much sense to me but the more I read about ALS or whats commonly known as Lou Gehrigs disease, I stumbled upon how the challenge actually came into existence and how it has helped raise about 62.5 million dollars to find a cure for ALS. Research says that, if not cured, 1 out of 25 people might be suffering from ALS by the year 2025. So guys, do help spread awareness, through the ice bucket challenge (even if you dont get nominated) or through your own preferred way and try to donate as much as you can (y) So, Id like to thank Shalaka, Malavika and Adithya Venugopal for nominating me for the ALS ice bucket challenge and furthermore, Id like to nominate Shruti.
