At half time during the Algeria-Germany match, we switched stations to CNN and Richard Quest was on. On a segment titled World Cup-Onomics, Quest talked about how the exit of some teams affected stocks performances. He then went further to remove flags of nations that had been exited/would be exiting. Lo, he plucked out Algerias. Ford and I, both stunned, felt it was either a mistake or ignorance. Im here, somewhere, ruminating on the matches (Nigerias and Algerias) and conclude there was a conspiracy to send Africa out of the World Cup. Pray, tell, why was France not red-carded for that heinous tackle on Onazi? Why did the ref blow his whistle many times too unnecessarily against Algeria during their match? All I can say is dia ris God ooooo.
