At my mums funeral 5 years ago,it was raining. Hard. Somebody told me the day before, an old Victorian myth, that If rain falls at a funeral, the deceased will go to heaven as God welcomes them in. Im not religious or superstitious and normally ignore stuff like that, but it gave me a little bit of warmth. At my nannys (my mums mum) funeral today, once again it rained. Hard. Even though I got a bit wet, I was glad it rained.
