At one time, I experienced this type of Messianic teaching and allowed myself to come under condemnation for just being a woman...especially a single woman without much hope outside of a male covering. BUT, I petitioned my Father with my questions as my heart was telling me differently (as I had always believed since coming to faith) and I STAYED IN THE WORD. I allowed the WORD to wash over me and let the spirit of Covenant Torah reveal truth to me. This very incorrect teaching, that women have no equality in Israel (body of believers), robs Messiah of glory. It is entirely contrary to the spirit of Covenant Torah.
