At our last board meeting we were informed of an increase in patients as a result of the work we did to enroll people in Affordable Health Care. Many who had not had insurance in the past are now coming in for checks; this is exactly what we hoped would happen. I am also aware that this change, like all changes will cause some hardship for us all. Those that are new to PCHS will take time to understand our culture and all of what we do to help them. Some will want to demand things we cannot provide, many more will be amazed at what great things we can do for them. But all will learn that “we see and value everyone who comes through our doors”. In this time of change I would ask that you hold fast to those principles that have made us who we are and provided great success over the last years. As we learn of deficiencies and issues we will use quality methods to resolve them. If you see an issue or problem, bring it to the attention of you leadership so that we can learn about and continue to improve our processes. And most important THANK YOU from the Board of Directors
