At roughly 1pm this afternoon, I heard a loud crash outside my office window. I flipped the blinds down to see what happened and saw a car rolling on the street. I immediately ran outside to the vehicle with my co-worker Nick. There was one woman in the car, and her hand was laying outside the drivers side window. Blood was everywhere. I took off my belt and gave it to Nick to use as a tourniquet. She started screaming and kicking, despite our repeatedly asking her to remain still until EMTs arrived. Our supervisor Jennifer and other co-worker David arrived with blankets and a fire extinguisher. Jen had to stabilize her head, Nick on her shoulders and chest, and I had to hold her legs, as this woman was kicking, thrashing, and screaming. EMTs arrived and took over, then the 4 of us gave statements to the detective. Blood everywhere, and her screams...holy hell. We are being sent home early today. Im going to hug my son. Ive never seen anything like that...
