At the exact moment the text reached me about Jim Bath having died yesterday, I discovered a new growth on the ancient cat that joined my household last summer, Suzie Mae. Its not a squamous tumor, like the one on her head, and isnt on her head, but at the other end. Its a penis. Yes, because the cats long hair, because the person who brought the cat over referred to her, because of the fem faux fur lavender collar around the cats neck and because of the beasts air of general Blanche Dubois helplessness and reliance on strangers, we have assumed that male cat to be female all this time. I must now test the limits of this cats limited intellect and see if I can successfully rename the beast. Given the timing of the discovery, I want to see if I can get him to answer to Old Jim Bath.
