At the new year I was in Charlotte. While there I visited Levine Museum and their exhibit on post-Civil War Southern history & the people that prompted social change. Of course, there was a remake of a living room with the I Have a Dream speech playing on an old black & white. There was also a small example of what segregation looked like. I cant imagine hating someone for their skin color; their ethnicity or lifestyle choices. Our DUTY to each other is to simply LOVE one another. “Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” ~ Martin Luther King Jr., A Testament of Hope: The Essential Writings and Speeches
