At the recommendation of a friend, we stopped by Buddy Boy on 38th Monday evening at 6:30. Unfortunately, we never made it through the door. The gatekeeper said they close at 6:30. When I questioned her about it, knowing that they have until 7:00 to get their sales in, she said that they actually close at 10 till 7:00, but because I was a new patient it would just take too long to get me in the system. Really? It takes 20 minutes to enter a new patient? I told her that Ive never been to a center that took that long. Well, weve been really slammed all day, was her final response. So we left... and likely will not return. Its too bad the thousands of dollars spent on advertising was so effective that they were so busy they couldnt attend to their customers. As a patient, what if I had made a special trip to get medicine I really needed? Lazy staffers and poor customer service will keep me away from this shop, and any of the other Buddy Boy Centers. Too bad. First impressions matter.
