At this time 13 years ago I was getting ready for work not knowing if what would become.... My ex was in the city working my brother was going to be getting on a plane....got my coffee pulled into flowerfield and I had on 880 news and it came over that a plane had hit the World Trade Center at that point I thought it was just an accident until I kept listening I ran into work shaking to my bosss office and told him what I heard and he turned the tv on. I went to my desk and 10 min later we were called into the conference room thats when I found out what was really happening. He sent us all home. I went home having the worst anxiety I couldnt get a hold of my ex. I didnt know if my brother was on the plane yet and if one if those planes he was on I called my friend Kate Hohmann she came right over and we went to the firehouse and thats where I stayed. It was eeery the quiet outside no trains no cars no planes the sound of jets in the background. Finally around 8pm Frank Sapienza told me he got a hold of my ex and told me he was ok and I found out my mom was taking my brother to airport but was stopped And made to turn around. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT DAY EVER THE EVIL COWARDS THAT ATTACKED US. INNOCENT PEOPLE KILLED AND THE BRAVERY OF THE FIREFIGHTERS NYPD ETC YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN.
