At todays meeting I mentioned moral particularism. It just so happens that several years ago Jonathan Dancy, one of the leading proponents of moral particularism, was on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. You can watch his segment and (a.) learn a bit more about particularism and (b.) watch a philosopher try to explain his views to a comedian (much hilarity and misunderstanding ensues). And in case youre wondering how Dancy got a spot on The Late Late Show, it turns out that Claire Danes is his daughter-in-law (shes married to Hugh Dancy of Hannibal fame), and she mentioned him during her own appearance.
