At yesterdays meeting, I did not take many pictures, because I was talking from 130 until 415. Here are some photos that other people took at our event! Thank you everybody who came. I think we had at least 30 people! Our next meeting in Jackson that I will be able to attend will be on Saturday, December 13th, at about 830 in the morning at a different location that allows children. Somebody else needs to find the location and I would prefer it was a college campus with enough seating for 100 people . I have a 10:30 meeting afterwards with the Mississippi State Democratic Party. All volunteers are welcome to start having meetings! Just write to me and I will send you the list of who has volunteered in your area, and itinerary of suggestions of what you need to talk about, and start having meetings. You are in charge of your area! You are! Nobody is going to come and help us. These are Mississippi issues and only Mississippians can organize a grass roots movement that registers voters and get them to sign the ballot initiative petition properly so that it can appear on the 2016 ballot. We are not going to have our official petition until December, but we can start training each other on how to use the petition, and especially talk about what our ballot initiative that legalizes and decriminalizes cannabis does. If you have not read the ballot initiative, how can you talk about what it does and get people to sign it? People will not sign something that they have not read, but they will sign something based upon what you tell them it says, so you have to know it.
