Athletics in the valley is most hindered by pageant/political parents (parents who think their kid is the end all be all) and general COMPLACENCY. Your ride home after the game can make or break that kid, blaming everyone else for their lack of success is a sure recipe for eventual failure. Tell them to spend more time on the game as opposed to blaming the coach, the wind, or the oversized players on the other team. Pride will get you no where. Your kids athletic career is NOT yours, vicarious living is not healthy. Be tough on em, make them solid. Real talk.
