This is a part of the conspiracy to suppress the ongoing movement of Kashmiris,” Geelani told IMOK. “JK is a conflict zone and the conglomerate won’t allow any new lawor rule which is detrimental to people.We will resist the governmentmove tooth and nail.I make a ferventappeal to traders andpeople to raise their voice against the diktat.The conglomerate will monitor the developments closely and if need arises formulate a programme to resist this anti-people move.We will also extend all support to any programme of the traders against theproperty tax,” Geelani said. Geelani accused the state government of vandalizing state’s natural resources for their “petty interests.” “Thousands of kanals of land across the state is under illegal occupation of Indian forces;our forests and water bodies have been vandalized in the name of so-called development.Ourwater resources have been sold and people have beenleft in lurch.
