Attention ALL Keyboard/Synth & Sample Players I CONFESS WANT YOU! BACKGROUND INFO.... We are a 5 piece Post Hardcore/Alternative Rock band from surrounding East and West Melbourne, we have established a fully committed band written handfuls of songs together, recorded a 4 track EP called puzzles with master and extraordinaire Beau Mckee (Ex Drummer Of Closure In Moscow) at his studio Oakland Productions, Nunnawading and have promoted ourselves throughout Melbourne through live shows and social media. FURTHER.... We are still freshman to the music scene and plan to record again mid this year with Beau Mckee, although our EP was only released 2 months ago we dont want to get too comfortable and stop releasing new material as the songs featured on the EP are songs written by Hayden and Tom before I Confess or were created at the beginning of the writing process early 2012 mid 2013. Our vision is to write songs still within our current style spectrum but with new influences and ideas arising each week we want to add another sound to broaden our music and recreate our sound to something no one (especially in our home towns and Australia) havent been introduced to, nor any bands have attempted tackling especially with the ever changing and constantly fading Punk and Hardcore scene. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING TO ACHIEVE? We are seeking a male between the ages of 19 - 27 with flexible abilities for shows, rehearsals, brief catch ups and updates, 5 - 6 day recordings (able to contribute payments) has a license permit ( P plates arent a problem ) understands our vision and the style we currently have if you think you can honestly contribute to further helping our writing expand further towards something individual that is a HUGE bonus, being open to anything and can take small criticism towards ideas etc maturely.... IF ANY OF THIS DOESNT SUIT YOUR LIFESTYLE OR THINK IT DOESNT MATCH UP TO WHAT WE ARE HOPING TO FIND IN YOUR PERSONALITY AND CURRENT SITUATION PLEASE DO NOT HOLD BACK AND TALK ABOUT IT WITH US!!!! MOST IMPORTANTLY THE MUSIC.... We are mainly focusing on the music more so with try outs, our biggest concern when discussing a keyboard player was the equipment the individual person owns and his ability to play and more importantly write & create something that can only inspire ourselves and the listeners that what we are hearing is completely individualised. This may be a lot to take in but we believe this is most important as we are READY TO START WRITING as soon as we find a member who best suits us and the criteria weve put out through this advertisement. WE WANT SOMEONE WHO, has a professional set up (keyboard, synthesiser, can sample and create sounds & beats and perform them live, has a complete understanding on creating momentary moods (intro, interludes, instrumentals etc ) if you do not own some equipments mentioned, but youre sure you can expand your set up and move straight into writing and creating sounds, WE ARE AFTER YOU.
