Attention All Livestock Exhibitors !!!!! The Santa Barbara County Fair will be implementing and requiring all Market and Breeding Livestock Exhibitors (Small and Large) to attend a Quality Assurance & Ethics Awareness Training to be eligible to enter market and breeding animals in the fair. This will be required of all Beef, Sheep, Swine, Poultry, Rabbit, and Goat (Meat, Dairy, Pygmy) exhibitors. The following training classes will be offered at the Santa Maria Fairpark: March 8, 2014 10:00 AM Fountain Pavilion Santa Maria Fairpark March 30, 2014 1:00 PM Fountain Pavilion Santa Maria Fairpark March 30, 2014 3:00 PM Fountain Pavilion Santa Maria Fairpark Exhibitors can also attend any Quality Assurance & Ethics Awareness Trainings that are approved by the California State Fair and listed on their website bigfun.org. All training must be completed prior to May 16, 2014 to be eligible to enter Market or Breeding Livestock at the 2014 Santa Barbara County Fair. If an exhibitor has previously attended one of California State Fair’s APPROVED Quality Assurance & Ethics Awareness Trainings within the last 4 years they do not need to attend training this year.
