Attention Carter relatives: For 2015, myself and some other Carter researchers are going to try and update Howard Carters 1905 book Isaac P. Carter and His Descendants. That book was and still is a valuable resource for Carter family members. Many of you have copies, either in book form or via the Internet. But there are many gaps in the book simply because of the time it was published. All family members named in the book are deceased, and we thought it would be appropriate to record the years they died. More importantly, we want to correct some of the errors that are in the book and the discrepancies that have surfaced over the years. And we want to make sure that all the facts in the book are properly sourced and records properly and accurately cited. So, cousin Leanna Eversmeyer and cousin-in-law Mike Thompson and I are embarking on this project, and we were wondering whether any other cousins would like to join us. Theres no timetable, though sooner is better than later, of course. We would love to be able to share Howard Carters updated edition with our numerous cousins across the country.
