Attention Male Actors!!!! SCOUNDREL: Short historical comedy film seeks actors for lead and featured roles! In the summer of 1770, a shipwreck on a remote desert island leaves only six survivors. Scoundrel is a tale of buried treasure, duels, cannibalism, petty greed and stupidity. Were looking for talented actors, comedians, and improvisers to be a part of our ensemble. This will definitely be a group project - were very excited about working together to develop something awesome (and hilarious). Love of history encouraged. GAIN LEWIS - A low-born ordinary seaman, faithful but ignorant. SAMUEL SKIPWELL - A gentleman, who first hired the ship to sail to unknown lands. MARTIN FORBES - The boatswain, highest ranking (surviving) officer, deluded and ambitious. FREEBORN NORRIS - A gunner, unabashedly self-interested. GEORGE PADSTOW - Another ordinary seaman, stupid, meek, and overly emotional. JEREMIAH COFFIN - The surgeon, aloof and vaguely amused. All parts open to actors of different ages and racial/ethnic backgrounds. Shooting in eastern MA in mid/late September. Auditions to be held 7/1 evening and 7/2 day in Boston.
