Attention Neighbors & Friends of Olde Wythe: Since November we have had 3 squatters living in an apartment of ours on Pochin Place. Their names are Thomas Silver (not pictured below), Mauryta (Rita) Watson & Paula Ann McGreen Since initiating trespassing & eviction efforts we have learned how literally dangerous these individuals are - A magistrate in Hampton told me that these 3 criminals are constantly in & out of lockup. Furthermore, 2 other property owners in the Buckroe area have had squatting issues w/ them in the last 2 years. They have also recently been charged with theft & assault & battery. If you have an empty property in Olde Wythe make sure your property is secure & check it often! These individuals are often seeking odd jobs, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. An officer who works Olde Wythe recommended sharing this information & reiterated repeatedly that ITS UP TO US TO KEEP THESE INDIVIDUALS OUT OF OUR COMMUNITY!
