Attention all neuroscience students of KCL! This is really important! KCL is about to resort sacking 150+ teachers and professors at the School of Health Sciences. I urge you to petition the redundancies and go protest at Denmark Hill! They are basing the redundancies simply based on teaching hours and grant income, not on quality of teaching or research. In essence, firing people if their research is not expensive enough. KCL will lose its reputation as a leader of science, research and innovation if it continues to eliminate the building blocks of science: great teachers and great researchers. If KCL continues to undervalue and threaten the very people who built Kings reputation, Kings will also lose the people it is hoping to retain. These actions will seriously hurt the quality of education at Kings, and therefore you!!!! So please take five minutes of your time to sign this petition.
