Attention people of St.Maarten. Local registration for the Caribserve Video X Games has begun. Be sure to read up on the rules and regulations found on our website (thevideoxgames). For your convenience here are a few house rules you should be aware of. _____________________ House/General Rules: All persons visiting the VXG venues and events must adhere to the general terms and conditions specified in this article. All contestants upon making payment of the registration fees, on or offline, have read and understood all contestant-, venue- and event- house rules and agreed to abide by them. VXG reserves the right to ad or adjust any and all rules prior to the beginning of the Caribserve Video X Games 2013 event. All contestants, participants and spectators at the VXG 2013 event must always have their identification and venue passes on them. VXG reserves the right to remove any persons not able to provide valid identification from the premisses. Everyone present at any and all VXG 2013 events must conduct theirselves in a orderly manner as to not distract or impede the progression of the event. Failure to do so will result in immedediate sanctions that may be as extreme as removal and or banishment from the event venue for the duration of the event. Tampering with event equiptment without permission of supervision from the appropriate authorities may result in a fine or additional sanctions. Game rules will be enforced by authorised VXG personel (referees). Their rule is law. Any persons not in agreement with a ruling from a referee may seek to invoke the ruling of the head referee. To maximize on everyones enjoyment VXG 2013 is set around a 3 day scheduled event. Failing to meet the required schedule time, being late for matches or not being present at a appointed station when called is the responsibility of each contestant. VXG will not impede the progression of the event if you cannot be found or have been delayed for any reason not related to an action taken by a VXG official or in the case of a VXG event having direct influence on your whereabouts. VXG 2013 game catagories are centered around 3 main gaming genre. Fighters, First Person Shooter, Sports. These game genres will be devided amounst the PS3-, Xbox 360- and Nintento Wii- game consoles. All participants/contestants attending VXG 2013 must walk with and are responsible for their own controller at the event. Majority of the Fighter games and all Sport games will be played on the PS3 console (with exception of Super Smash Brothers Brawl which will be played on the Nintendo Wii game console.) New for VXG 2013 will be the rule that ALL First Person Shooters will be played on the Xbox 360 game console. Once the fees have been paid and the registration form has been signed, there is a strict “no refunds policy”, there are ofcourse exceptions that may be made, but your case must then be reviewed by the head referee or an official VXG board member.
