Attention veterans in the Columbia, S.C., area: The American Legion’s System Worth Saving Task Force is conducting a town hall meeting at 7 p.m. at American Legion Post 6, 925 Senate St. for veterans to discuss the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center. During the meeting, the task force will focus on VA’s accomplishments and progress over the past 10 years, current issues (GI Consult Backlog) and concerns, and VA’s five-year strategic plan for several program areas, including campus alignment, staffing, enrollment/outreach, hospital programs, information technology and construction programs.
