Auditions for Smokey Joes Cafe - The Songs of Leiber and Stoller are just around the corner! This show, directed by Peggy Breaux Hupp is a Grammy Award-winning musical revue which showcases 39 pop standards, including rocknroll and rhythm and blues. The songs of Leiber and Stoller provide the basis for a show full of electrifying entertainment! The cast calls for 4 women and 5 men (however, the cast can be expanded). There is some dancing in this show, but Peggy is especially looking for strong singers. Auditions will be held in the Peoria Players lobby on April 5 and 6, both days at 2:00 pm. Please bring your sheet music with you to auditions. Show dates are June 5-8.
