The Copperas Cove Police Department acted in response to a report of a residential burglary in the 800 block of Shady Lane on Friday at 1:02 a.m. A door and door frame were damaged in this case, and 30 digital video discs and a digital video disc player were stolen. $1,960 was the total monetary value assessed in this incident. Quinton Mario Lane was arrested on Friday at 11:44 a.m. in the 2700 block of East Highway 190 for evading arrest or detention, disorderly conduct involving voyeurism, criminal trespassing and assault on a public servant. Cove police assisted the Coryell County Sheriffs Office in arresting Lane with an affidavit of surety to surrender principal for criminal trespass. A value has not yet been determined in a report of a residential burglary on Friday at 12:41 p.m. in the 500 block of North Main Street where two laptops,two televisions, eight pairs of shoes, an Apple router, a game console and two video games were stolen. A residential burglary was reported from the 1000 block of South 13th Street on Friday at 6:43 p.m. where a television, two rings, money and a laundry basket altogether worth $1,217 were stolen. Also on Friday, Blaind Mayhew was arrested in the 900 block of Davie Lee Drive at 8:07 a.m. for driving with an invalid license and with no insurance that happened on July 30 at the intersection of Davie Lee Drive and Highland Drive. Deadly conduct and criminal mischief were reported from the 1100 block of West Avenue B on Friday at 3:33 p.m. where $400 worth of damage was done to a vehicle hood. An accident involving more than $200 worth of damage to a vehicle was reported on Friday at 6:51 p.m. from a location in the 100 block of West Highway 190. Jacob Ronald Lentz was arrested for theft on Friday at 11:22 p.m. in the 1200 block of West Avenue B.
