August 7th Thursday Night Ride is not happening. Instead, please attend the Olde Timey Bike Fest: the Velocipede Campaign, taking place 2 blocks over from the Monument at the Maryland Historical Society. Theyll have a 4-7:30 American Wheels to the Front: Evolution of the American Bicycle exhibit, plus a 5-7:30 cash bar/food truck happy hour, plus a high-wheel men (penny-farthing) bicycle demonstration, *AND* from 7:00-8:30 a celebratory bike ride led by Baltimore Heritage. Theyve been kind enough to design the route to accommodate Thursday Night Ride (same general distance, will end before the AVAM Flick From the Hill, which will be Time Bandits!, and close enough to Federal Hill to make the movie on time).
