Issued at 10:45 pm EST on Tuesday 11 June 2013 Synoptic Situation A trough over the Channel Country will move across the Queensland interior during Wednesday and reach the southeast coast early Thursday. Increasing north to northeasterly winds are expected ahead of the trough over southern Queensland waters. Strong Wind Warning Cape Moreton to Point Danger Expect north to northeasterly winds to increase to 25 to 30 knots over offshore waters during Wednesday evening. Seas increasing to 3 metres. The next warning will be issued by 5 am EST Wednesday.
