Australian news television is light years behind Indian news channels in its coverage of the hostage crisis. What a subdued, measured, boring coverage! How do we know it is a terror attack without the News anchors shouting about it in shrill, high-pitched voices? Where are the breathless anchors? Where are the microphones shoved under hapless bystanders noses? Where are the insensitive questions posed to the family members of the hostages like aapko kaisa lag raha hai? Where is the minute by minute coverage of the security forces revealing their positions? Where are the ghoulish reporters almost peeing in their pants with barely controlled excitement as they shout hysterically I hear gunfire, I hear gunfire? Indian newspersons really need to conduct classes for the Aussie Reporters. #Admin_Red
