Unwillingness to connect to stronger spirit has made many to lose the invisible battle over their lives. King David was a prophet, teacher, singer, commander- in- chief of the armed forces. He enjoyed the New Testament life style at his time. Nevertheless, he had times when his heart was overwhelmed (overcome by superior forces, overpowered in thought and feelings). So many things can make our heart to be overwhelmed: Loads of responsibility at home and in the office, demands from people, blindness by greed for money and power, the deceit of our enviable promotion, peer pressure, seduction, temptation, forces we do not have control over, disobedience, prayerlessness, lack of regular fellowship and studying of the bible. Before you are overwhelmed, pray to God to lead you to the rock that is higher than you. This rock can come in form of book written by the higher anointed. It could be fellowship or church service meant for your situation. It could be messages on CD, DVD, the screen (TV); mostly, it is the man of God with stronger spirit and higher anointing. Earthly things always explain spiritual realities. We may be age mates, but not grace mates. There are depths in the spiritual issue. We are not all in the same level. It is profit to always know how to connect with stronger spirit, higher anointing and greater grace for continuous victory in life. In some cases, seven (7) days fasting and prayers may require only a word of prayer for 1 (one) minute from stronger spirit. However, this does not negate the place of your personal spiritual emphasis but does help to overcome unavoidable overwhelming situation as a Christian. There are some people you must not meet, but there are some people you must meet in life. MAKE THIS CONFESSION YOUR PRAYERS: - Help me to connect with stronger spirit and higher Grace for victory in Jesus’ name!
