Auto-Archives is delighted to announce its first fund raising event, an exclusive screening of the new Ron Howard movie, RUSH. The event will be held at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, at Aspen Grove, Denver CO 80120 on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013. Screening time will be around 6:00pm, with pre-event attractions (car show, displays) starting at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $50.00 each and will include the movie, dinner and a choice of a beer or glass of wine, or of course soft drinks, along with door prizes and a silent auction. The archive is a collection of automotive materials built for research, education or just plain fun, one to share with all Colorado car enthusiasts. The business plan sees the collection being housed in a 4,000ft museum space where the 100,000 or so items currently held can be viewed and used by individuals, car clubs, or local automotive related businesses. In addition to the main library/archive there will also be a cinema room, reading room, media room, coffee shop and bookshop, as well as an automotive-themed space available for holding events and private functions. Help us raise awareness of this event by spreading the word to automotive enthusiasts. Help us find and fund a building by helping us raise money for the construction of the museum, and by spreading the word to any business investors who are passionate about all things automotive. Help grow the collection by donating any automotive-related material (books, magazines, photographs, memorabilia). Remember, any donation is tax deductable.
