Automatic blood pressure machines have to be the new range in torture for children in hospital. After having in excess of 8 blood pressures done a day amalie is really over it. If she is not completely still it punishes her by squeezing tighter and tighter, so getting her to be still and compliant just gets more and more difficult. Im all for the good old fashioned gentle hand pumping with a stethoscope and watch timer. Now something I thought amalie was ok with has become traumatic and stressful. Especially in the middle of the night!
